Treasure Tuesday's Fabulous Thrift Store Find

Today's fabulous find is a bit of the beaten path for me but a find, is a find.  I was in my favorite Goodwill location and heard the sweet, sweet musical sound of a fresh cart of merchandise being rolled out to the sales floor.

Like a pack of hungry animals people surrounded the cart, grabbing things and fighting for territory.   Something caught my eye on the lowers shelf so like a true thrifter I just reached between two people and snatched it while they were distracted.

I had discovered a beautiful, black pebble lectured leather laptop computer/briefcase.  To my pleasant surprise I found a Bally tag on the frontside.  I check it over and the condition was near mint, excellent quality, and since I have a Bally briefcase I was 99% it was authentic.  Price was $10.

It did have one flaw, the bag is missing the shoulder strap.  I looked on the Bally website and discovered a replacement strap would cost between $200 and $300.

Found an almost identical bag one selling on eBay for $750, my price was an unbelievable $10.  Retail would be about $1,500.   I'll keep my eye open for a matching Bally shoulder strap on Ebay.
