Cocktails anyone? 

One of the easiest ways to enter the world of thrift shopping is by adding some vintage and unusual items to your entertaining arsenal.  Here is a grouping of some of my cocktail related finds.

FLUSHING COCKTAIL

2 dashes aromatic bitters

1 oz sweet vermouth

2 oz cognac

Combine ingredients in a single rocks glass. Add a rock of ice and stir. Garnish with an orange twist. 

5 Waterford "Ashling" old-fashioned glasses.  
Paid $3.50 at Out of The Closet Thrift Shop.
