Treasure Tuesday's Fabulous Find.

Was roaming through Wertz Brothers. a resale furniture store in Santa Monica CA.  This desk looked familiar, and expensive.  Had a clue it was Rose Tarlow, so as I stood guard so no one else would buy it, I checked out the Rose Tarlow website on my phone.  Bingo!  found it, bought it, and took it home where it is today.  Mine is in a Zebra wood option they no longer manufacture, would have loved the one in the tear sheet even more.  Purchase price was $450  Retail value in the $12,000 range.

Tip:  Most designer furniture companies have websites with photos of their designs  When in doubt, pull out your handy smart phone and take a look.  Check item dimensions agains manufacturer specifications to avoid knock-offs.

Have switched the chairs a few times.
