Treasure Tuesday's Fabulous Thrift Find.
Found this nickel plate and black granite table at a local resale/thrift shop that just opened in my neighborhood. Noticed the excellent quality and condition, and the Global Views label on the bottom of the table. Was pleasantly surprised to see the $65 price tag.
Almost didn't buy it because I couldn't think of a place to use it. Was already out of the store and in my car when I decided to look up the manufacturer on my phone. I quickly found the table at an on-line shop with a retail price of $3,900. How could anyone pass up an almost $4,000 table for $65? Needless to say I went right back into the shop and bought it. I figured if I couldn't use the table I'd do a quick flip.
