Treasure Tuesday's Spooky Find

Halloween is often the first time people step into a thrift shop.  They're usually looking for a vintage or unusual item to complete their costume.

An advantage to living in Los Angeles is a shop on Burbank called "It's a Wrap", where they sell used studio wardrobe.  About a week before Halloween they have a 75% off sale.  Keep in mind these are professionally made costumes of amazing quality.

I put my costume together mostly with pieces from the film "Dracula Untold" starring Luke Evans.

Helmet: $150 less 75% = $37.50
Belt:  $55 less 75% = $13.75
Gauntlets:  $45 less 75% = $11.25
Chest plate:  $80 less 74% = $20
Silk sash:  $8 less 75% = $2
Drop-crotch pants: $8 less 75% = $2
Sword:  Goodwill $3.99
Total:  $90.49

These items can be mixed and matched with other pieces to put together a variety of other costumes.

I purchased this leather belt from "It's a Wrap" several years ago for another costume.  For this costume just added the lower drop portion that I purchased this year.
