Treasure Tuesday's Fabulous Find
This was a bit of a slow shopping week. I recently dropped about fifty pounds and have donated most of my wardrobe to charity. Many of the items had never been worn. It occurred to me that I can't be the only one doing this, and I love a bargain. So lately I've been paying a bit more attention to fashion, which is honestly not my expertise.
On the way to an appointment I decided to stop into a Sherman Oaks California Goodwill store. I noticed a Calvin Klein Alligator belt with a plaque buckle hanging on the end of a clothing rack. It looked as if it had never been worn.
I checked the back to see if it was genuine Alligator, or embossed leather. It was market American Alligator.
The belt buckle was very tarnished which is unusual. Upon further inspection I discovered a .925 hallmark, AKA sterling silver. Price was $3.99
Couldn't find a match by Calvin Klein so posted two similar belts for value.

Ben Silver price would be $810 for a similar belt, eBay price for similar belt $362.50. Either way the $3.99 purchase was pretty fabulous.
